Working closely with academic and other administrative staff in supporting the activities of the department, you will provide advice and guidance to current and prospective students regarding a range of issues (including entrance requirements, option choices and combinations, assessments and course materials) by various means (telephone, in person, email, online etc.), including at recruitment and induction events.
The role involves daily contact with a diverse range of students, staff and members of the public and you will be responsible for dealing with and resolving queries.
You will be part of a team that delivers a high quality administrative service to staff and students and will operate a number of College processes, including those related to admissions, room bookings, module choices and assessment, to ensure that objectives and deadlines are met.
You will possess at least two years relevant administrative experience, preferably in a higher education environment, with strong communication, organizational and IT skills. Experience of providing high quality customer service is essential, as is an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will be able to priorities a busy workload and maintain a flexible and positive approach to your work.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week.
