Role responsibilities:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, your primary function will be to lead the team of staff responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial management for both the UK and European entities, as well as the group. This includes –
· Leadership duties and the ongoing development of the Finance Team
· Maintaining accurate financial records and a robust controls framework
· Preparing statutory and consolidated accounts for all companies within the group
· Liaising with the bank, auditors and other relevant external stakeholders
· Preparing profit, loss and balance sheet accounts
· Ensuring the company adheres to country-specific regulations
· Preparing monthly flash and management accounts for all companies in the group
· Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
· Preparing and conducting regular management reviews to discuss financial results, advising on stronger operational policies and financial controls
· Business partnering with key stakeholders and advisors, challenging business reviews, improving the processes and identifying key risks
· Taking a lead role in strategic projects
