This role will be split and you will need to be able to prioritise your own workload. Principal Duties/Tasks and responsibilities Organising Board of Governors, arranging quarterly board meetings, preparing and circulating agenda and papers for meetings, taking minutes and actions. Organising AGM including booking venue, advertising to members, collating attendee list, preparing packs, speaker presentations, catering etc. and taking minutes. Membership database, including sending out renewal letters, supplier partner invoicing, updating database with payments received, banking membership fees Dealing with new membership enquiries, sending application forms Administering Professional Development Fund grant applications Any other administrative duties required by the President
To Support the Training and Development Manager in the following areas: Preparing training course booking paperwork and correspondence Keeping accurate records of training Courses and trainees Issuing Certificates Booking rooms and facilities and catering at ROCEs, and other locations Photocopying and binding documents Helping out on training days Franking and posting course materials Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel to produce correspondence and documents and maintain spreadsheets and databases. Knowledge of SAGE would be an advantage
Terms & Conditions hour lunch break, but flexibility as to hours will be required in certain circumstances. Occasional attendance at venues, with possible overnight stays, may be required. Holiday Entitlement - 23 days plus Bank Holidays.
