Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the Management Accounts, Credit Control and Accounts Payable teams
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analytical review and commentary
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation's, with all balances fully investigated and reconciled
• Preparation of annual departmental budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
• Management of external audit process
• Involvement in ad hoc financial projects

Desirable

• Management experience
• Experience in/of Credit Control and/or Accounts Payable departments
• Experience using Sage

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Fully Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA)  Minimum 3 years post qualified experience Understanding of finance regulations and legislation Sound knowledge of accounting terms and concepts Strong analytical skills Willingness to undertake a varied and challenging role Willingness to undertake challenging tasks often beyond your ‘comfort zone’
