Job Description

The Internal Auditor role is a key part of WPP Internal Audit in providing operating company assurance and advice on risk mitigation.

What you'll be doing:

• Planning and delivering multiple internal audits at operating companies across the WPP Group.
• Bringing your experience to ensure issues are identified throughout the audit cycle.
• Engaging in assurance engagements over company-wide risks.
• Participating in investigations.

Who you'll be working with:

The team comprises 8 senior staff, and is building back to 3 managers, reporting to the head of region. You may also work with the ICFR testing team, the IT audit team, Programme assurance and data analytics. We are supported by 3 technical admin staff. Together, our audit work covers operating companies in WPP in Europe and Africa, as well as some assignments over company functions – this role will consist of around 65% travel across these regions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Relevant audit experience, generally qualified, but you may have alternative operational experience. Flexibility to travel up to 65% of the time across Europe and Africa. Strong basic accounting competency. The ability to think outside of the box. The ability to multitask. An inquisitive, assertive, tenacious and pragmatic nature.
