Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the primary workflow mailbox.
- Directing and processing emails into the appropriate internal departments.
- Communication with clients by phone or email (to confirm when jobs are scheduled or complete).
- Processing data jobs.
- Receiving data files via emails, SFTPs.
- Providing efficient delivery logistics through following strict protocols and procedures.
- Ensuring full compliance with all HMRC / Border Force rules and regulations and providing an outstanding level of service to all stakeholders.
- Using Customs clearance software along with other customs entry systems and the bespoke in-house system.
- Checking, cleaning, de-duplicating, merging, sorting and preparing data address lists and manifests.
- Converting various data formats.
- Processing jobs and creating workflows, possibly coding using Cygnus and Excel.
- Continuous Process improvement.
On offer is a salary of between 20-24k depending on experience, plus benefits and possibly some flexibility on home working.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates that apply should have some previous experience of working with Data and Spreadsheets. You should be analytically minded, organized, proactive, with good attention to detail, and be a team player. A good understanding of ERP systems and databases is useful, along with a strong grasp of Excel.
