Job Description

You will be organized, flexible, determined and resilient and possess excellent communication skills and have an eye for detail. You will work closely with doctors, medical staffing colleagues as well as senior managers and finance colleagues.
This is a fast-paced role and no two days are the same. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate can work well under pressure, always maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude. Experience in a rota coordinator or similar role, with experience of using RotaGeek/Locums Nest/TempRE would be advantageous.
The main purpose of this role is to support the PA to the Clinical Director/Medical Staffing Lead with the operational management and co-ordination of all leave and rotas within the Mental Health Service. The post holder will be required to work closely with all medical staff and other managers ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained and the service is not adversely impacted. The post holder will be involved in recruitment of substantive, fixed term and agency medical staff as well as supporting individual and group inductions. The aim of the role is to implement, embed and maintain processes and control procedures to ensure leave arrangements, rotas and agency and locum use are effectively managed.
