Job Description

The role of Quality Auditor is a non-scientific role that requires a highly organised person who is comfortable with fast moving production environment and PC work. Working as part of a dynamic team within a temperature controlled, chilled environment; responsible for conducting all relevant checks as required by company policies in relation to food safety, food quality, good manufacturing practice, good hygiene practice, product specifications, etc. the documentation of checks, exception reporting to relevant management and initiating and ensuring corrective action is taken as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Primary review of batch documentation before QA approval, collect the recording forms from the operations teams, documentation filing, archiving and scanning.

· Conduct in process quality checks during the production process.

· Perform regular in-process quality checks for production area.

· Verify and ensure that all processes/procedures are validated and approved.

· Respond, at the initiation of the responsible person, to any other special requests that may arise.

· Any other duties as and when required essential experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Basic knowledge of GMP · Ability to perform under pressure · Clear verbal and written communication in English is essential · Ability to work on own initiative and in a team · Ability to adapt to change, excellent time management skills in order to meet deadlines · You must be a detail orientated person and be highly organised · You will also have effective communication skills able to place orders and deal with issues regarding suppliers in a professional manner · You will have the ability to work confidently on a PC using Excel, Word and the internet · Display a positive attitude towards work, team members and overall company goals This role includes weekend work, which will be discussed at interview. All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
