Job Description

Your core responsibilities include managing the entire accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment. You will be supporting the team with month-end as well as year-end activities, especially by managing accruals. This is a dynamic, expanding business, which will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with and assist cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts payable from invoice recording to payment
  • Supporting month-end and year-end activities (e.g. prepare monthly accruals)
  • Supporting monthly and quarterly VAT filings, both domestically and internationally
  • Supporting the team in financial (UK GAAP) audits with external audit partners
  • Establishing a strong working relationship with counterparts in Germany and Spain

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High professional with initial accounting/finance experience
  • Solid education background in accounting, finance or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of local accounting rules (i.e. UK GAAP)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with hands on mentality and the ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Oracle desirable
  • Competent to meet assigned deadlines under pressure
  • Detail-orientation, structure, methodology and organizational skills
