Job Description

You will have call handling experience together with a broad range of administrative experience. You will be required to work within the team supporting the smooth running of the service and undertaking administrative requirements for Specialist Nursing Services.

This role includes;

  • Receiving and dealing with phone calls/ referrals/ messages received.
  • General word processing
  • Updating and management of databases
  • Assisting with generating reports
  • Organization of training
  • General filing /ordering etc.
  • Obtaining telephone feedback from service users

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Uses office equipment, computer, photocopier, etc. to ensure efficient production of work.
  • Specific IT application such as ability to work with basic Microsoft Office applications, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc. as required.
  • Input of data on to Systmone for the Continence Team as required.
  • Filing and archiving of notes and other patient information.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, careers, team members on a daily basis
  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages accurately and keeping message book as required.
  • Making phone calls on behalf of the team as required.
  • Arrange team meetings as required.
  • Collect post and check messages for the team.
  • Photocopying as required.
  • Telephone contact with service users to obtain service feedback
  • Liaise with other relevant departments as required including product suppliers.
