Job Description

You will lead all aspects of month-end financial reporting, taxation, and finance business partnering. You will lead a team of six people within credit control and IBA, with further junior resource being hired to assist with month-end closings and various other duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with demonstrated experience of working within the Market with a minimum 5 years’ PQE working as a senior finance person within a reputed insurance organisation. Experience of working within a backed environment would be highly advantageous, as would be the candidate’s ability to identify common KPIs/ metrics reported.

Our client require someone who is detail oriented, has good command over insurance financial ledger systems, comfortable posting journal entries, overseeing creating ledger codes, is very strong as a technical accountant, but at the same time able to take a step back and be commercial. They are looking for someone who is results-oriented and wants to be part of a very fast-growing business and eager to develop his/ her career over time.
