Job Description
The Admin team all with different roles in managing and supporting effective and efficient patient flow through the service. They work to support various clinical teams across Home 1stand the post holder will need to have a good understanding and oversight of the demands and needs of each team. You will also be required to support HR processes as needed.
- To manage a team of administration staff including recruitment, supervision, appraisal and
- Maintain and develop administration systems and processes, including appointment bookings, referrals and record keeping, to support the provision of Home First Planned Care and the management of the
- To lead on liaison regarding IT related issues within the Services
- Work closely with IT, Performance and Business Development leads in the development and maintenance of tools to monitor performance in the Services and provide reports as required
To work with the service manager to develop services and new ways of working. In particular on the development of an admin SPA (single point of access)
- To be responsible for the operational management and day to day running of the administration To effectively coordinate the management office by ensuring that admin duties are undertaken.
- Lead on the development of policies/protocols/guidelines related to patient administration, IT and performance within the services.
- Lead on developments and improvements as required in patient administration by undertaking audits relevant to this part of the service.
- Develop appropriate system documentation (SOP’s) to enable staff to maximize the systems capability.
- To line manage the administration team including arranging the training of admin staff with regard to IT related systems i.e. Systmone and ensuring compliance with all mandatory training and To monitor and continuously improve procedures to ensure maximum efficiency for admin flow through the service.
