Contributing to writing and updating SOPs, User Guides and Checklists by testing, reviewing and suggesting small edits to drafts.
Contribute to project management by ensuring project timesheets, project end reports and annual project reviews are completed.
Contribute to checks made of researchers before access is permitted to datasets. Simple but accuracy essential to comply with data protection.
Contributing to installation of software for researchers. Simple software only.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excel – basics and conditional formatting, filters
Word – basics and formatting and track changes and review options
OneDrive – how to copy, move, edit, save, sync documents including OneNote files
Software – able to learn to navigate new websites and install basic software
Able to understand and follow instructions
Able to manage their own task list (with tasks, deadlines, priorities provided)
Able to ask for more guidance when required
Able to report back on tasks - in progress and finished - clearly, accurately and timely
Able to hear and talk effectively via Teams, in meetings, in emails, in work they contribute to
