Job Description
  • Cash forecasting and liquidity management both short term and longer term
  • Manage, control and execute the Intercompany and our transactions as well as transferring excess cash to and from the Investment accounts
  • Maintain and administer the banking platforms and ensure mandates are up to date
  • Ensure banking relationships are maintained and liaise with banking providers as and when required
  • Ensure the team operate with the correct controls and adhere to agreed processes (developing procedure documentation where necessary)
  • Produce quarterly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhere to the monthly reporting close in accordance with timetable and accounting policies
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of Treasury reporting through continuous improvement in processes and controls, collaborating with the wider finance teams and European branches.
  • Effective liaison within the wider Finance teams, HR, tax, legal entity reporting and internal audit colleagues and with external stakeholders (e.g. external auditors and service providers)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ACT Qualified accountant (or near completion)
  • Experienced in a Treasury team within a large European or global business with knowledge of banking products and the payment landscape
  • Experienced initiating and driving process and financial control improvements
  • Proven experience initiating and implementing change within Finance
  • Advanced excel knowledge / ability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in an insurance business
