Job Description
- Lead and develop a commercial finance team at the heart of business decision making. Provide support and challenge to the company leadership team through business partnering.
- Develop relevant and insightful performance reporting. Highlighting key issues/ opportunities to the Board and key stakeholders.
- Oversight of all daily, weekly and monthly reporting (Daily sales, monthly Board pack and monthly Board pack)
- Developing, refining and constantly improving finance information/ ERP systems to underpin effective reporting and planning. And enabling agile analysis. That are appropriate for a scaling business.
- Develop “self-serve” capabilities that enable people to do their jobs.
- Lead and improve/ refine the company planning cycle.
- Own and develop a planning cycle for a business in growth
- Management and coordination of Annual budget and re-forecast
- Management of strategic plan (2 year & 4 year)
- Ensuring a smooth process that delivers realistic and challenging performance targets
- Provide analysis and actionable insight on the key drivers of performance, and drive actions
- Key examples:
- Control and drive focus projects agenda
- Clear insight into the landed cost picture of products, and drive actions.
- Highlight risks and opportunities
- Assist the business in the evaluation of new opportunities and business change. And measuring success in the short, medium and long term.
- Leadership:
- Managing an FP&A manager, and Commercial finance analyst
- Develop a team that can meet the demands of a scaling, changing, growth business
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across the business.
