This role offers the opportunity to help bring new internal reporting tools to fruition, as well as contributing to external reporting towards the end of the contract.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be assisting our data team in migrating our finance data to Athena and build new management accounts (Athena experience not required)
• Gaining assurance over the accuracy of data provided through reconciliation
• Modelling scenarios for our segmented P&L reporting
• Supporting the wider finance team in other reporting, for example dashboard and P&L reporting
• Assisting in interim audit requirements – addressing audit and internal review comments and ensuring they comply with IFRS technical disclosure requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This role will be ideal for someone trained in an accounting practice with experience in audit, high attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.

• A qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent
• Strong technical accounting background (experience reviewing/preparing IFRS financial statements)
• Analytically minded and comfortable with using new data sets and tools to create reporting
• Excellent at project and task management with the ability to adapt quickly to new situations
• Proactive with a can-do attitude and a desire to take ownership
• A confident communicator with the ability to explain cross-function concepts
• Intermediate Excel skills
