Job Description
  • Researching advanced international tax issues, working with outside advisers as necessary, as part of a tax team involved in supporting business initiatives
  • Assisting with evaluating business initiatives and expansions from a direct and indirect tax perspective, and providing advice to the business as appropriate
  • Producing written materials and analyses for both business and tax audiences
  • Coordinating and providing support across the tax team as needed with other relevant sub-teams, such as tax compliance and reporting and transfer pricing
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key business and functional contacts, such as legal, accounting and finance
  • Assisting with implementation of agreed-upon tax strategies and projects
  • Assisting with audits
  • Maintaining and communicating knowledge of past, present and potential future European tax laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisions
  • Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor (or equivalent) or graduate degree in taxation preferred
  • Awareness of both direct and indirect tax matters preferred
  • Detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects

  • Able to extract, analyze and review data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Work effectively in a team environment

  • Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
