Dynamic and energetic, our clients are in the business of promoting recreational events throughout the world and are looking for a confident Senior Business Administrator to join their team where you will be the responsible for the running of the Administration department overseeing three other co-workers.
Your new role
Manage the provision of the office management and medical administration service to the site, ensuring it is effective and efficient.
Establish, review and maintain efficient office administration procedures.
Line manage a small administrative team of three.
First point of contact for all site visitors and site employees and contractors.
Manage agreed areas of the site budget and be accountable for expenditure: manage the processing of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, travel & accommodation requests, expenses and petty cash for the site; provide regular budget updates to the Operations Manager and liaise with the national Finance team over budget queries.
Co-ordinate and deliver induction programmes.
Oversee the maintenance for the site, run reports and ensure compliance and accuracy
Support the National HR team, by implementing, administering and promoting consistent and clear HR processes in areas such as recruitment, attendance, induction, use of the HR system.
Support the National IS team, by implementing, administering and promoting consistent and clear IS procedures, coordinating starter inductions and where required, act as the contact for the IT help-desk in relation to major IT faults.
Act as the H&S representative for the site promoting health and safety
In conjunction with the Operations Manager, manage any premises or facilities related issues, including liaising with landlords.
Co-ordinate and support site management meetings.
Any ad hoc duties as requested by the Operations Manager or Management.
What you'll need to succeed You will need to be available to start late July and commit to working a 10 month contract. The role could possible go permanent, however we will not know until later next year. It is essential you have senior administration experience and a modern way of thinking and working. They are keen to find a vibrant support manager who can work well within a vibrant team. Experience within MS packages is essential along with the confidence and ability to pick up new systems quickly. This is a fast paced role and you may be up on your feet moving around different departments or called away for adhoc duties so flexibility is paramount.
