Job Description

You will act as the first point of contact for all calls and emails received for the service via the single point of access. The role will involve sending communications to parents and careers, other health and social care providers and educational settings. You will be required to clearly document and record information securely and accurately to guarantee records are maintained to ensure smooth delivery of the entire service. As part of this role you will support the training team by liaising with third parties who are requesting training for children on the caseload, organizing appointments and ensuring that training materials are prepared for the team to use as needed.
The role will require you to assist in the purchase of medical supplies, specialized medical equipment and stock control in all four locality bases where you may also be required to undertake ad-hoc deliveries to patient homes, locality bases or care settings. It will also include allocating and organizing resources for the care team to use as required.
We are seeking someone with excellent communication and administrative skills who is enthusiastic to provide administrative support to the entire service. The post holder needs to be highly organized, manage their time and workload efficiently and be able to liaise with parents/careers in a caring, professional manner. You will also be required to hold a driving license as this job will entail travel across the county.
