Job Description
  • Working with the Accounting Manager in overall preparation of quarterly accounts, including co-ordination of all schedules, reconciliations and reporting packages for review by the Senior management
  • Preparation and review of financial reports such as cash flow statements, income statement and balance sheet flux schedules, which are submitted to a variety of end users
  • Ensure all reporting packages are submitted accurately and timely on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Complete/ Review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support on the annual statutory audits
  • Supporting management and wider finance team on any ad-hoc duties
  • Identify and drive areas of improvement within current processes with the aim of maintaining the current high standard of service provided in a more efficient manner
  • Opportunity to manage junior team members, if desired, by providing management and coaching of interns and accountants to support the development of the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (e.g. CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Strong excel skills
  • SAP experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment where priorities must be continually re-evaluated and adapted as possible.
