Organizing a range of regular and ad hoc events, ranging from informal student drink receptions to more formal dinners, and the relevant invitations, responses and seating plans associated with these events.
Greeting visitors to the our Office and preparing refreshments as required.
Ensuring that the our Office is set up/cleared before and after each meeting.
In particular with all matters of governance.
Ensuring that extremely important and confidential documents, spreadsheets and lists are maintained and kept up to date.
Providing any administrative support required.
In the preparation of agendas, papers and minutes for college meetings and especially with Governing Body meetings, liaising with College Officers and Committee Convenors as necessary.
In carrying out any actions resulting from college meetings including the preparation of relevant correspondence.
Maintain accurate and up to date registers, lists and spreadsheets.
Administer all paperwork pertaining to academic recruitment whilst liaising closely with the chair of the relevant appointment panel and corresponding with applicants.
Maintaining an efficient online and hard copy filing system.
Ensure that deadlines are met and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
liaise with College Officers and conveners of committees concerning the production of reports and papers
Provide support during absences and holidays of other team members and deputies for other team members as and when required.
