Job Description

This is a varied, busy and exciting administrative role that will provide the post holder with a wide variety of opportunities to obtain new skills in an interesting area, along with the potential for further development into other roles, if desired You will greet visitors when they first come into the building and be the first point of contact for all calls and emails into the main Enquiries mailbox.
You will also be responsible for setting up the meeting rooms prior to each event taking place, , ensuring that the room layout and IT set up is in accordance with the event organizer’s wishes and deal with any queries during the meeting or event.
You will be responsible for issuing ID badges and door-release fobs, liaison with Security and contractors visiting the building to carry out maintenance, and keeping accurate records of building contracts.
The team is a well-established and significant part of local offices, with a large but close-knit team supporting the management of junior doctors and dentists through their training programme to the point of completion of training. The team have forged excellent working relationships with local education providers and work closely to deliver outcomes with the sole focus on the trainee at all times.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Apprentice must be willing to undertake an apprenticeship qualification at level 3 Business Administration with a recognized training provider which is fully funded. If the successful applicant should not currently hold a qualification in Math and English at GCSE grade 4 (previously C grade) or above or equivalent this must also be undertaken as part of the apprenticeship.
