Job Description
They are looking for an enthusiastic part-time bookkeeper to join their team 2 days a week. Someone with at least 2 years proven experience with accounting software, and the ability to learn in-house software systems.
- Processing payments, invoices and income into Xero software and filing hard copies
- Assisting Head of Finance with reconciliation of accounts on Xero.
- Liaising with Head of Finance and providing receipts for reconciliation
- Managing and chasing company directors for receipts
- Uploading bank statements to Xero
- Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Liaising with Head of Finance to complete VAT returns
- Monitoring business accounts and alerting the Head of Finance of any errors
- Preparing employee wage information for accountant and issuing pay slips
- Managing employee expense claims
