Job Description

You will undertake all administrative and reception activities required along with providing excellent customer care to patients and visitors attending the Centre.

  • Work closely with consultants and secretaries to provide support in the patient pathway.
  • Appropriately direct all incoming calls and participate in all reception duties
  • Collaborate with our colleagues ensure consistent cover for the Centre’s reception.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to ensure all insurance cover is verified.
  • Liaise with consultants, secretaries, radiographers and nursing staff regarding new patient and review clinics, follow-up clinics and during treatment courses.
  • Act as point of contact for all patients ensuring a professional and efficient service.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience managing a busy reception area
  • Experience in a customer focused environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience within a diverse range of administrative roles
  • Evidence of an empathetic and holistic approach to patient care
  • Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily
  • Experience of using Mosaic IT package
  • Be proficient in all MS office packages including, but not limited to, Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Previously worked within the healthcare sector
