The post holder will need to have strong administrative skills that underpin the patient journey, supporting clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and making a real difference to the patient experience. You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work in a pressurized and busy environment.
The post involves providing full administrative support to consultants, their teams and patients including typing of correspondence, dealing with email and telephone enquiries, managing outpatient clinics, diagnostic and inpatient waiting times and taking responsibility for managing the whole patient pathway.
