You will be part of a close-knit team of four that works hard to ensure the smooth running of academic HR for the academic staff (Associate and Statutory Professors). You will also play an important role in delivering HR support for the divisional office, a large multi-functional professional services team.
You will be responsible for key monthly HR and payroll administration processes and will also support: probation and development reviews for professional staff; sabbatical and special leave for academic staff; and the initial period of office (probation period) process for new academics.
You will be a team player with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for thoroughness and working systematically with processes. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of HR processes paired with professional administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong numeracy skills, and experience of working with databases or HR systems, will also be assets.
