Job Description

• Support the Financial Planning Manager during planning and forecasting cycles, working closely with the wider finance team, and commercial and operational teams across the business.
• Support with short term planning activities, so the business always has an up-to-date view on trading performance compared to budget/forecast and expectations.
• Involvement with longer term planning activities, including supporting Group Finance in certain key areas such as going concern/impairment assessments
• Adhoc support with analysis required for the wider business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for someone that is a Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with previous experience in a similar role. Experience within the retail industry would prove advantageous; however an interest in International Retail is vital. You will be an excellent communicator who can engage, communicate and influence both financial and non-financial managers. Your planning and organizational skills will be strong and you’ll be able to priorities a broad and extensive range of activities, and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, to ensure all financial data is summarized in a logical and informative manner appropriate for a variety of audiences.
