About you

You either trained in industry or you've moved into it after completing your qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). You need to be comfortable being the go-to finance expert in the business; a vital part of the operation.

If you're interested in pets and horses, it's an ideal move but the company is open-minded about who they hire. Alongside all-round accounting expertise, you'll need proven people skills; you'll be regularly liaising with staff in our stores as well as briefing external contacts - auditors, for example.

Clearly, you'll need to win the confidence of the directors. You'll do that by showing you're ambitious to progress - to keep yourself and the business moving forward. If you want a routine, 9-5 role, this isn't the job for you. If, on the other hand, you want to see your ideas and energy reflected in the organisation you work for, then we'd really like to talk to you.
