Job Description

You will work alongside our film production management, supporting the creative teams to deliver high-quality animation films on time and budget with specific responsibility for providing up to date cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows.

  • Partner with the Production Management as required and providing accurate and timely information on all aspects of production.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with external partners, including streamers, distributors, and vendors.
  • Preparing the monthly reporting and funding requests.
  • Preparing monthly cost reports, forecasts and cash flows for production and development.
  • Posting all purchase and sales invoices, credit & cash cards, and expense claims.
  • Reconciling multicurrency production bank accounts.
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
  • Reviewing crew hires & purchase orders for budget approval.
  • Maintaining payroll records and preparing 3rd party payroll submissions.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly VAT and other compliance items.
  • Assist in providing information for the year end audit.
  • Meet new production crew and ensure they are fully aware of company financial policies and procedures.
  • Acting as a first point of finance for the production crew.
  • Work alongside the Studio Finance Manager on any Locksmith Group initiatives and to provide extra support.

You should be detail orientated and an accurate team player, with plenty of initiative and a strong attention to detail., who is able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. The Finance team is a small, highly skilled and multi operational unit that is looking for someone who can add value and happily work alongside its members.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 3+ years of experience working on Film /TV productions, experience of US studios an advantage.
  • Highly numerate, detail orientated and analytical with excellent Excel skills.
  • Experienced in general ledger processing: PSL an advantage.
  • Experienced in production payroll processing start to finish.
