Job Description
Managing the flow of content on a portfolio of titles to agreed speed and quality targets including routine operation of online systems.
Working with supplier partners to ensure speed, quality and accuracy targets are met through routine auditing.
Acting as a point of escalation for our supplier partners on a portfolio of titles.
Preparing reports, collating and analyzing statistics in relation to submission numbers, manuscript flow, processing times and other aspects of the system.
Providing assistance to authors, referees and editors in using the systems and resolving general query correspondence.
Providing excellent and empathic customer service within agreed timeframes.
Conducting data analysis and problem solving to drive process improvement within the portfolio of titles.
Recognizing process improvement opportunities within the way the Editorial Office team works and making recommendations.
Maintaining accurate electronic records system used by the production department and the wider company.
Provide project support as and when required, this includes support for projects that are in production and projects in development.
Successfully liaise and communicate with colleagues within and across departments as required.
Successfully liaise with external stakeholders as required.
Preparing for and attending internal and external meetings.
