Job Description
  • Managing the flow of content on a portfolio of titles to agreed speed and quality targets including routine operation of online systems.
  • Working with supplier partners to ensure speed, quality and accuracy targets are met through routine auditing.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for our supplier partners on a portfolio of titles.
  • Preparing reports, collating and analyzing statistics in relation to submission numbers, manuscript flow, processing times and other aspects of the system.
  • Providing assistance to authors, referees and editors in using the systems and resolving general query correspondence.
  • Providing excellent and empathic customer service within agreed timeframes.
  • Conducting data analysis and problem solving to drive process improvement within the portfolio of titles.
  • Recognizing process improvement opportunities within the way the Editorial Office team works and making recommendations.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records system used by the production department and the wider company.
  • Provide project support as and when required, this includes support for projects that are in production and projects in development.
  • Successfully liaise and communicate with colleagues within and across departments as required.
  • Successfully liaise with external stakeholders as required.
  • Preparing for and attending internal and external meetings.
