Job Description
- Working with other team members as part of a call team to successfully recruit participants to the trial.
- Answering incoming calls to act as first point of contact for Patients, practice staff and other study staff, responding efficiently, confidently and politely to all enquiries, seeking advice or forwarding them to other members of the study team to answer, as appropriate.
- Explaining the trial to potential participants, clearly detailing what is involved in taking part in the trial and subsequently taking informed consent.
- Collecting information accurately from the patient over the phone to successfully complete screening, baseline and contact detail forms online.
- Re-consenting participants over the phone to any new trial procedures.
- Acting as a flexible member of the team, willing to take on other administrative tasks as required.
- Undertaking training to fulfil responsibilities.
- Resolving any issues that may arise in consultation with the Team lead and the trial team.
