Job Description

We are looking for an individual with the desire and ability to really understand and drive the business and we can offer career progression within an exciting global technology group. You will be responsible for producing, reporting, and analyzing all financial results and participating in/supporting management meetings. This role is a broad and hands-on role requiring a sound understanding of business and commercial matters and the demands of being part of a successful international group.

  • Work within a great leadership team to add value and drive the business forward, maximise EBIT and operational excellence
  • Design, implementation and distribution of first-class monthly reporting pack to management team
  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of gross margins and Cost of sales
  • Understand balance sheet accounts and risk therein, including calculating stock/receivables impairment
  • Support migration of current ERP to MS Dynamics and control/manage integration with accounts system
  • Work with operational team to support stocktakes
  • Day to day management of transaction processing/support staff
  • Other key analysis, reconciliation and reporting as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified (Ideally ACA but QBE will be considered) with 1-2 years post-qualification experience in industry
  • Reporting to tight deadlines
  • Exposure to evolving business (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in system migration (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to confidently work across and with all parts of the business and proactive in approach to business
  • Very strong excel/modelling skills
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to identify and understand potential issues/solutions
  • Positivity, enthusiasm and commitment
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy
  • Keen to take ownership of responsibilities and fastidious in adhering to deadlines/meeting commitments.
  • Team player/can-do attitude/willing to challenge status quo
