Job Description

You will have an opportunity to develop your skillset including customer service and sales within an established engineering business environment.

  • Reviewing post sales reports and identifying end user clients suitable for communication to sell service contracts
  • Working with the Senior Service Coordinator to produce client invoices and issue new service contracts raised
  • Managing the planning, scheduling, allocation and communication of work duties for our Service Engineers;
  • Communication with the Service Engineers to notify them of their job allocation and acting as point of contact for the Engineers when they are working on site;
  • Raise and send purchase orders to buy stock as required;
  • Preparation and dispatch to clients of Installation and Operating Guidelines;
  • Maintain management system records for coordination of sales of service maintenance contracts;
  • Filing and organization of Service Department emails, quotes, and engineers photos, engineer’s documents, scanning paperwork when required;
  • Drafting, sending, checking and chasing of Commissioning Checklists, and Risk Assessment and Methods Statements;
  • Reactive support for clients as and when required, including handling client complaints;
  • Taking client payments as and when required;
  • Opening company accounts for clients and sending client letters confirming their new account details;
  • Assist in the preparation of data for management reports;
  • Liaise with production/warehouse staff regarding preparation of products prior to installation on site;
  • Occasional visits to client sites;
  • Occasional transport of stock in company vehicle, as and when required and which may require lifting of heavy items;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Scheduling/Planning
  • Competent business administration skills;
  • Ability to collate and comprehend technical and product information
  • Computer literate; thorough working knowledge of MS Office, with use of database systems a strong advantage;
  • Competent business administration skills;
  • Educated to a high standard;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the pumped drainage industry or related service industry;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
