Job Description
- Working closely with operating and enabling functions of company to ensure a collaborative approach to business partnering, to deliver transparent information
- Ensuring that high quality, transparent data is generated and analyzed for use in the production and interpretation of management information
- Management and development of the systems used in the production of management information
- Providing analysis and interpretation of project and cost Centre spend and forecasts, particularly around translational science functions
- Support project leaders by enabling them to understand and own their project finances
- Supporting the budgeting and reforecasting processes
- Maintain and develop the reporting environment through management of development of systems
- Ensure finance, project and forecasting systems are aligned and reconciled
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / equivalent by experience)
- Experience of working with financial planning software and data visualization systems (e.g. Adaptive / Power BI)
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
