Job Description

We are looking for a customer service focused administrator, who is used to working in a busy, fast-paced environment and has a proactive approach, an eye for detail, multitasking skills and a desire to use their own initiative to develop departmental processes. This post is an essential part of our team supporting all aspects of the referral, assessment and review process for clients to our service in a fast-paced environment. Recording and providing statistical data for reports will be a key area of the role, as well as the sourcing of care provision from local care providers and the completion of the necessary financial documentation to support this process.

This role is a full time, 37.5 hours ideally, but we will consider applications to work between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, band 4 permanent position, to be worked over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday only, with some flexibility in start and finish times negotiable. We are continuing to support hybrid working arrangements for our administrative staff if desired, following the completion of an initial training period in the office. This can be a flexible arrangement and in reality, this is likely to be working from home two days per week and working in the office three days per week for full time staff.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience of updating and maintaining client records on a daily basis and working to deadlines is required, along with the key skills of prioritizing your workload, delegating tasks, communicating clearly and taking the initiative. You should have at least an intermediate level of IT skills with excellent word processing and practical experience of using excel spreadsheets and databases along with the full range of Windows software.
