Job Description

This ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified and/ or may have commenced their ACA or ACCA studies from a practice background and looking to progress their career. This will be a varied role involving the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, (review of) bookkeeping, tax compliance and dealing with client queries. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Corporation tax computations
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
• Training clients on accountancy software
• Dealing with client queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
• QBE also considered
• Minimum of 2 years practice experience is essential
• Good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
