Job Description

In this role, you will take a critical role across a range of activities working alongside all levels of the Financial Management Group will be responsible for:

• End-to-end indirect tax return process management
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
• Focusing on data governance
• Provide VAT advice on new transactions
• Technical review of indirect tax calculations and Submission of indirect tax returns

You will use your expert knowledge of indirect tax and experience of working for large companies groups to liaise with businesses to understand transactions and ensure they are correctly reflected in tax submissions. You will be a qualified accountant or tax advisor with 5+ years’ experience in indirect taxes, ideally gained from working within the Financial Services industry or another large corporate organization. You may also have multi-national tax accounting and compliance experience. You will demonstrate effective communication skills and enjoy internal and external stakeholder management and relationship building, providing subject matter expertise and commerciality.
