Job Description
- Prepare completed and accurate information on financial positions of the firm
- Preparing monthly management accounts to include all financial results and KPIs, among other statistics
- Ownership and management of project budgets and annual overhead budgeting process
- Preparing and distributing variance reports for projects
- Working closely with project managers to prepare monthly forecasts
- Assist in preparation of year-end accounts and corporation tax computations/returns, as well as quarterly VAT returns, including Group
- Involvement in maintaining cash flows and forecasts, including detailed sensitivity analysis of future cash requirements and funding commitments
- Directly supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Either a finalist or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA individual
- Financial accounting experience including audit or production
- Some tax experience is a necessity, including VAT, Corporation and Deferred Tax
- Good understanding of property finance
- Analytically minded and strong technical skills, including using Excel, industry-wide software, QUBE and SAGE
