You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and take ownership of processes to drive efficiency across all finance processes. Contributing to this will be the need to understand all the finance systems to again focus on enhancements (where appropriate) and efficiencies. The role will be the first port of call for projects affecting Finance drawing on SMEs from across the function and managing dependencies.
Applicants must have an accountancy qualification with relevant experience gained within insurance/reinsurance companies and have experience of running & improving financial reporting and close processes, implementing financial systems and processes, identifying business issues, owning responsibility for the quality of deliverables, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing persuasive recommendations, have an Interest in using new technology as much as possible to automate and improve processes and be able to simplify complex concepts, overcome obstacles and drive balanced decision making for action.
