Job Description

We are looking for a professional eLearning Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development team. This role will be designing and developing eLearning and supporting courseware. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

What you’ll be doing:

• Define instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Visualise and develop instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished courseware
• Applying tested instructional design theories (e.g., 70/20/10 model), practice and methods
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
• Review course evaluation and feedback provided, making appropriate amendments
• Maintain L&D documentation/trackers and course folders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven working experience in eLearning instructional design
• Great communication and ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Expert knowledge of effectively using the Articulate360 suite of course development tools
• Experience in using a Learning Management System, as both Admin and Learner
• Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
• Application of Brand Guidelines, when designing courseware
• Ability to write effective instructional text, audio scripts, video scripts
