Job Description
  • Support the continuous improvement and development of our ERP solution, and integrity of financial reporting, including provision of support to financial teams to ensure consistency and continuous improvement of financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Completion of  reporting processes:
    • Maintain accurate and complete books of account to defined standards and in accordance with the group’s accounting policies, structured to enable optimal performance reporting.
    • Ensure adherence to all financial reporting deadlines across the group.
    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Support with the preparation of the statutory reporting requirements and audit procedures.
  • Perform month-end control processes:
    • Manage capital expenditure and fixed asset accounting.
    • Control intercompany transactions.
    • Process month-end manual adjustments, including review of accruals and prepayments.
      Prepare detailed analysis of general & administrative expenditure to support forecasting processes.
  • Administration and management (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventories).
    • Ensure appropriate authorization for all purchases.
    • Review aging of receivables and assist with recovery of outstanding receivables.
    • Processing sales and purchase invoices.
  • Cash administration and management:
    • Manage banking transactions and perform month-end bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts and plan forward currency and exchange needs
  • Act as key point of contact for any employee queries regarding finance processes, particularly around the timesheet and expenses system.
  • Management of timesheet and expenses system, ensuring timeliness of submissions and scrutiny of time and expenses charged and alignment with policy.
  • Ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Part qualified Financial Accountant with strong financial acumen – ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience working with SAP preferable, but not essential
  • A high level of motivation, with the energy and drive to “make things happen” and grow

  • Ability to solve problems without seeking guidance and supervision
