Job Description
Client sectors include property, international businesses, large retailers, technology startups, and entertainment and media clients. Based in a very successful and supportive Bookkeeping and outsourcing department, your role will be varied and will be split between preparing management accounts, general bookkeeping duties (sales ledger, purchase ledger, reconciliations, depreciation, fixed asset register etc.) using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, VAT returns, offering clients advice, and various reports, analysis and business management assignments (such as budgets, cash flows, forecasts etc.) for a wide range of very interesting clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be either a qualified AAT or ACCA. You will currently be operating as a Senior Bookkeeper or Outsourcing Semi Senior and be looking for a role which is 100% home working based and will continue to be going forwards. You must have at least 3 to 4 year’s experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, particularly management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including QuickBooks, Sage and Xero, would be an advantage but training will be provided. You must be looking to work on a wide variety of good quality clients, take on responsibility at a rapid pace and be looking for a challenging and interesting home working based role.
