Job Description

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and who can provide excellent administrative support with a focus on the provision of parking services to our residents and visitors. This role is part-time at 14.5 hours per week over two days (Thursday and Friday) with one day in the office. The salary is pro rata.

  • To support a fair and consistent approach to parking enforcement by accurately processing Notices and appeals in a timely and objective manner.
  • To assist with the provision of a fair and accessible parking service by responding to queries relating to all aspects of parking across the County including reporting car park maintenance requirements and financial processing
  • To support the Parking Administration Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective management of the various processes and systems used by the parking service.
  • To provide support to the Parking Administration Supervisor in the execution of system reports, parking statistics, and performance mechanisms within the service.

This role is offered on a part-time basis of 14.5 hours per week, over Thursday and Friday.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You have knowledge and a good understanding of parking services, particularly dealing with appeals.
  • You are customer-focused.
  • You must be resilient, and able to demonstrate the ability to deal with sensitive and difficult information.
  • You must be able to work flexibly to respond to service demand.
  • You must be able to demonstrate the ability to priorities a varied and challenging workload.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
  • You are keen to learn and able to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.
  • You are caring and helpful.
