Job Description

Working within the prison environment, provides a challenging backdrop to some of the most rewarding work you will do within your career. Our aim is to provide the best quality care we can which means ensuring respect and wellbeing is central to our approach in supporting people to change their lives for the better. You will be the single point of contact for the team responding to service queries in person and over the phone and dealing with service user and partner agency inquiries.

You will be mainly be responsible for:

  • Daily management of referrals into service – registering incoming referrals onto the system and following the relevant pathway. 
  • Dealing efficiently with the department’s incoming enquiries; prioritizing and communicating these to the team.
  • Data input for NDTMS 
  • Managing databases
  • Liaising with community and prison based services, Primary Care, Probation, Prison Staff, among others. 
  • Minute monthly business meetings, and the daily briefing meeting.

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational, proven administration and IT skills are essential for this role as well as an adaptable, flexible approach to work and be able to work well within a team as well as being able to use own initiative.
