Work closely with the project teams to understand risks and opportunities and ensure they are clearly reflected in the project plan and financials
Developing insights to drive management decision, actions and improve operational and financial results
Supporting the Financial Controller to develop and implement processes, systems and policies
The review, analyzing and evaluation of project forecasts, financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency
Be influential to drive business change by modelling and recommending processes whilst deploying best practice Business Improvement tools and techniques
Providing support to develop and roll out an management tool using Excel techniques
Implement lessons learnt and recommendation of improvements for future projects to ensure more robust financial and project control
Deep dive into high volume transactional level detail to understand the progress and costs of the projects including procurement and labor bookings data
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA or equivalent essential
Previous experience in a Project Management role within the Engineering and Manufacturing industries (or similar) is preferred
Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms supported by good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as collaboratively within a team
Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, complex and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude
