Job Description

To develop and promote research support for Health and related academic disciplines, and to optimize opportunities for funded research. To advise, guide and support academic staff applying for external grants, with a focus on the pre and post award financial management of grants, where appropriate.

• Working to support academics submit research applications for external funding 
• Establishing links with existing and new researchers to promote and develop collaborations
• Helping to identify new funding opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A degree or relevant experience 
• Knowledge of higher education and the research funding environment
• Be an effective team worker, who can work on their own initiative 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
