Job Description
  • Creating monthly reports and forecasts for P&L accounts, balance sheets, cash flow and budgets
  • Preparing reports required by the shareholders and any other ad hoc reports as required
  • Running monthly consolidations & issuing intercompany statements
  • Project sector analysis Completion costs update, and stage completion analysis
  • Project revenue, cost, and profit reporting
  • Leading the preparation for the annual audit of the financial statements including preparing year end lead schedules, providing audit support and liaising with Auditors
  • Leading with the preparation for the annual budget and recurrent forecasting
  • Providing financial analysis and advice on strategic planning
  • Line management of an internal accounts manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive accounting experience, ideally with some time spend within a professional services sector clients/business
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
  • Xero experience is vital
  • Excellent Communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills
  • Experience in preparing statutory accounts is essential
  • Experience in managing multiple cost Centre’s is essential
  • Experience of project accounting (desirable)
  • GAAP recognized revenue experience essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A good team player with confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work on own initiative / pro-active
