Job Description
  • To work with the Group Head of HR Services to inspire, create and deliver a Strategic and Operating plan for HR Administration
  • To ensure that HR Administration is consistently delivered to a set of Service Level Agreements, being constantly challenged and improved in all aspects so that the right performance standards are achieved
  • Inspire the HR Administration team, setting objectives and providing feedback and support for performance.
  • Ensure a positive working environment for the employees in HR Administration
  • Drive behavioral and people strategy for HR Administration to focus on engagement, succession and future capability to compliment the evolution of the Business requirement
  • Taking ownership of complex tasks, escalations and process delivery and implementation seeing them through to resolution
  • Ensuring and reviewing quality control and governance across HR Administration
  • Attraction and retention of top quality staff in HR Administration
  • Delivery of HR Administration within agreed operating plan targets.
  • To retain a flexible and dynamic approach to meet the evolving needs of the Centre with integrity
  • Leading on internal and external audit compliance
  • Creating value adding and accurate management information demonstrating the performance of the team and operational standards
  • Delivery of the strategic plan as agreed by the Group Head of HR Service
  • Working closely with the Payroll team to ensure pay related data is delivered in a timely and accurate way
  • Proactively work on building relationships and engaging customers and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining confidentiality in all matters, adhering to Data Protection legislation at all times.
  • Any other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience of working within an HR function
  • Team management experience, particularly in a fast paced environment
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and ways in which to pragmatically apply this
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Thrive in a fast paced, pressured environment with the ability to lead a team to achieve tight deadlines and SLA’s
  • Brilliant attention to detail
  • Experience of HR systems or similar, and proficient in MS Office applications
  • The ability to priorities workload effectively and against tight deadlines and SLA’s
  • A patient and knowledgeable approach, with the ability to instill confidence in a team
