Job Description
You will provide insight, analysis and commentary to stakeholders, aiming to influence and drive decisions and actions that improve the bottom line. This individual will support the Finance Managers and Senior Finance Managers in Logistics and the wider Finance team as required.
- Run and interpret management reporting to provide timely insight, analysis and commentary to stakeholders
- Identify risks, anomalies and opportunities and flag these to Finance Manager / Senior Finance Managers for prioritization
- Build an understanding of an external perspective and use to engage Finance colleagues
- Complete ad hoc / bespoke analysis for the business area as required to drive improvements
- Build business cases and support post implementation reviews
- Support the business to manage project budgets (if relevant), working with other Finance teams where collaborative projects demands this
- Run Finance Basics master classes with wider business if required
- Support the wider team on other Finance processes and budgets as required
- Attend business review meetings presenting to and supporting our Stakeholders as needed
- Review performance and challenge our 3PLs (3rd Party Logistics Partners) regarding costs and service
- Success in this role will mean being able to deliver timely, robust and accurate analysis; translating data into valuable business insight, communicating all relevant financial and non-financial information when needed
