Job Description
  • Collaborating and supporting the team and Directors to provide appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan taking into consideration the current and expected business environment
  • Leading discussions with key business stakeholders regarding audit scoping, test work progress and audit observations, consulting with relevant Internal Audit Directors
  • You will be responsible for executing audit work to ensure that you identify and assess relevant risks and controls have
  • Supporting an Audit Owner, as a member of the audit team, in performing walkthroughs, understanding of processes and identifying risks and key controls
  • Writing high quality working papers and support the VP in the writing of audit observations
  • Performing issues validation test procedures and well documenting the working papers
  • Providing complete, accurate and timely information for Internal Audit reporting
  • Performing continuous monitoring of relevant areas in data management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic knowledge of Data Management and Records Management processes
  • Good understanding of audit processes and methodology including continuous monitoring and management of the audit universe
  • Excellent communication skills, especially to explain Risk and Controls
  • Report writing skills, with the ability to provide clear explanations to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Banking and Financial services industry
  • Good understanding of Risk Reporting processes and regulations such as BCBS239, GDPR and CCAR
  • Familiar with DAMA (Data Management Association International) framework
  • Professional qualification relevant to Data and Records Management (CDMP, ICRM) certification desirable
